The best of Prague tour includes the best that Prague has to offer spread over two half days. You can have two mornings or afternoons of sightseeing and the rest of the time you can enjoy the city on your own following my suggestions. After this tour, you will feel much more comfortable and familiar with the highlights of Prague. You can start this tour in the morning or in the afternoon depending on your plans, availability or opening times of the sights.
Duration: 2 x 4 hours
Day 1
The first day we will visit the highlights of the Old town, Jewish town, and New town. You will learn about the famous Old town square with the Astronomical clock, see the Tyn church and other churches of the Old town and the hidden middle age streets. After visiting the Old town I will také you to the Jewish town and will tell you about the history of the former Jewish ghetto. In the second part of the tour, we will promenade through the streets of the New town where we will visit the Wenceslas square that witnessed the Velvet revolution in 1989.
Day 2
The second day we will focus on the left side river bank and the sights in Castle town and Lesser town. You will visit the Strahov monastery with the beautiful library and we will promenade in the Castle town. In the Prague castle area, you can admire the Cathedral of Saint Vitus and also the other interiors. In the summer it is possible to visit the castle gardens. After the Prague castle, we will walk into the Little quarter and see its baroque palaces and churches. Towards the end of the tour, you promenade across the Charles bridge.
